Tory Stirling, (MBACP)
Integrative Adult Counsellor
My name is Tory and I am a qualified integrative counsellor. I am interested in your lived experiences and can offer you a safe place to explore, understand and make sense of things you may be finding painful or difficult.
I am professionally registered with British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and have experience in working with a vast range of issues including complex trauma and bereavement. I understand these experiences can contribute to a sense of confusion, anger, shame or hopelessness and I believe engaging in counselling can be a significant step forward towards healing and change.
In addition, I am interested in neurodiversity and working with autistic adults. As a Neuroaffirming Therapist, I embrace different communication styles and can tailor my therapy to support your individual needs. With over ten years experience working in the field of autism I can offer understanding, assurance, and supportive insight.
As you tell me your story, I will listen without judgement and use a person-centered approach to support you. There may be layers to your experiences and many aspects of yourself to consider, so we’ll take therapy at your pace and make each session count. Above all, in therapy you will have an opportunity to be heard, seen and valued.
