Meet the Therapist
Hello. Thank you for taking the time to read what it is that I may have to offer you. As you may already know, we tend to seek out therapy at those times in our life when we are experiencing some form of distress. What that distress may look like will vary between individuals, and how people may name or label that distress will also vary considerably. What I can offer is first and foremost the opportunity to be with another human being during this time of distress. During this time, I will listen to you and together we will seek to better understand your current difficulties; your fears and hopes, your disappointments and pain, your losses and hurts.

My Style of Therapy
Building on significant experience working in an HSC Psychological Therapies Service, professionalism and accountability remain central to my practice. So, alongside developing a shared understanding of your difficulties, we will work together with a focus on making changes that are both helpful and personally meaningful to you in the present day.
Whilst my therapeutic approach mainly falls within the realms of CBT and associated ‘Third Wave’ approaches, I cherish the fact that first and foremost you may simply be looking someone to sit down and discuss your problems with. That is fine! Let’s begin there.
