Meet the Therapist

Hi, my name is Katrina and I am an Adult Integrative Counsellor. My aim is to provide you with a safe, non-judgmental, and nurturing environment where you can explore your emotions, challenges, and aspirations. I believe that every person holds the potential for growth and healing, and my role is to support and empower you on your unique journey.

I have a vast range of experience working with a diverse population and addressing a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, trauma, personal development and more. My aim is to help you build a life that feels fulfilling and aligned with your values. Whether you’re seeking immediate solutions to a pressing issue or embarking on a deeper journey of self- exploration, I’ll be there to guide and support you each step of the way.

Professional Qualifications

I hold qualifications in the following areas:

  • Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
  • Foundation Degree in Therapeutic Counselling – SERC
  • CPCAB Certificate in Counselling
  • MHFA – Mental Health First Aid
  • SET-LIT Domestic Abuse Recovery
  • SET – Alcohol Recovery
  • Solution Focused Therapy
  • Risk Prevention Training
  • Resilience Model Training

My Style of Therapy

My approach to counselling is integrative, however I use person centered initially and incorporate other therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to suit individual needs. I ensure that each session feels relevant and impactful to you.

I view the counselling process as a collaborative partnership. Together, we will work to identify patterns, develop coping strategies, and set achievable goals that promote resilience and self-awareness.
