Meet the Therapist

Thank you for taking the time to read my profile.

Hello, my name is Raymond, and I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and Accredited with National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society. I have extensive experience in working within the field of mental health across both the community and private sectors.

Just as the seasons bring change and renewal, therapy offers the opportunity to reflect and grow through life’s transitions. My aim is to provide a safe, compassionate, and respectful space where you feel supported to work through challenges and find new ways forward. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, low mood, bereavement, workplace stress, or simply feeling stuck, I will meet you where you are and tailor my approach to what feels right for you. Whoever you are and whatever you may be facing, you are warmly welcome in my therapy room.

Professional Qualifications

I hold qualifications and I am accredited in the following areas:

  • Foundation Degree in Counselling – Ulster University
  • Cert in Counselling Skills (CPCAB)
  • Complex Trauma and PTSD
  • Neurodivergent Awareness in Therapy
  • Safeguarding Adults
  • Safeguarding Children

My Style of Therapy

My approach is rooted in being person-centred which means the focus is always on you and what you need. For some, that may be having someone to lean on and guide them through the storms of life, for others it may be cultivating new and sustainable coping strategies to help them move forward with greater resilience and balance.

I believe therapy should feel like a space of hope and possibility somewhere you can begin to make sense of your challenges, reconnect with your strengths, and discover new ways of growing even through life’s most difficult seasons.
