Terms of Payment – Assessment First Session Policy
This payment policy is in effect to preserve the quality of the counselling therapy/psychotherapy services we provide to individuals.
When accessing private therapy via NI Counselling, you will be offered an assessment session with one of our therapists via face-face, email or phone. The therapist allocated to you will be based on your needs – location, availability, and therapeutic needs.
If you would like to move forward with this assessment session a fee will be applied. We require payment to secure and confirm your attendance. We request this fee to be paid as soon as possible, ideally within 24 hours of receiving your assessment appointment. The fee applicable will be listed in your booking email, it will also be listed on your therapists profile as their sessional rate.
If your fee has not been received, we will attempt to gain payment by sending various reminders via text and email. If we have not received payment before your assessment session, we will send you a cancellation email and withdraw the appointment.
There is a high demand on our services, if you change your mind and no longer require your assessment session let us know as soon as possible please, so your appointment can be allocated to another client in need of support.
