About Me
Hi, I'm Ben. I am a qualified integrative counsellor and a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, with a background working in community settings in crisis intervention prior to my counselling qualification. Since qualifying I have continued to support a wide range of individuals across many different presenting concerns.
My role is to create a steady, compassionate space where you can make sense of things at your own pace and figure out what you want or need from therapy. We are all unique individuals, and my approach will always be tailored to your specific needs , focusing on what will work best for you.
I am an integrative counsellor trained in humanistic, psychodynamic and CBT approaches, and I draw on these in different ways depending on what feels most useful for you. My work is centred on you and what you need. No two sessions are the same, because your experiences and goals shape the direction we take together. I focus on building a relationship where you feel safe, respected and comfortable enough to explore whatever you bring , and we will always work together to find an approach that truly fits you.
