Claire is a BACP registered integrative counsellor with over a decade of community experience and specialist bereavement training. Warm, grounded and deeply human in her approach, she supports adults through grief, identity, anxiety, trauma and the challenges of life transition.

About Me

Hi, I'm Claire. I am an Integrative Counsellor registered with the BACP, with over ten years of experience working in the community and voluntary sector with both young people and adults.

I know how heavy life can feel when you are carrying too much , when you are holding everything together for everyone else, yet inside you are running on empty. You may be grieving, feeling lost in a changing season of life, or simply unsure of who you are anymore. Sometimes there are not even words for what is wrong; you just know that something has to shift. That is where I can help.

My role is to offer a calm, compassionate space where you can lay down the mask, breathe and begin to explore what is really going on beneath the surface. I bring warmth, humanity and gentle honesty to my work, and I aim to walk beside you as you rediscover your sense of self, strength and direction. As an integrative counsellor, I draw from person-centred therapy, psychodynamic principles and CBT to meet your unique needs , combining empathy and insight with practical strategies for change. Our sessions might explore where patterns began, how they are showing up in your present life, and how to move towards something more balanced, hopeful and authentically you.

Empathy is seeing with the eyes of another, listening with the ears of another, and feeling with the heart of another.
