About Me
Hi, I'm Debbie. I am a qualified Integrative Therapist registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, and I have worked in the field of mental health since 2011, across both community and private sectors.
Life does not always follow a straight line, and sometimes we need someone to walk alongside us , providing support and guidance while we work things out. That is what I aim to offer in our work together: a space that feels safe, grounded and genuinely personal. Whether it is anxiety, low mood, grief, identity, relationship issues or a general sense of feeling stuck, we will work together in a way that feels honest, respectful and tailored to you.
I work integratively, drawing on humanistic, psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioural approaches depending on what you need , but at the heart of everything is a person-centred philosophy. I believe you are the expert in your own life and I prioritise working collaboratively: listening carefully, reflecting back, and helping you connect with your own inner resources. I value the richness and diversity of the people I work with, and I always aim to meet you exactly where you are.
