About Me

Hi, I'm Emma. I am an Adult Integrative Counsellor and I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you have the time and freedom to explore whatever difficulties you are facing. I understand that coming to therapy can feel daunting, and I will do everything I can to make you feel welcome and safe throughout the process , working at a pace that is genuinely comfortable for you, and adapting my approach to best meet your individual needs at every stage.

I draw from a range of counselling models including psychodynamic, attachment-based and cognitive behavioural therapy, which allows me to tailor support to what you actually need rather than applying a single fixed framework. I can help with a range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationship issues, trauma and life direction, and I offer both short and longer-term work depending on your goals.

Throughout our work together, I will strive to ensure you receive the support you deserve, promoting your autonomy every step of the way. My focus is always on improving your quality of life in the areas that matter most to you.

Counselling has to do with intuition, with work on oneself, with the quietness of one's mind and the openness of one's heart.
