About Me

Hi, I'm Frances. I am an integrative counsellor registered with both the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society. Building the therapeutic relationship is key to a successful counselling experience, and that will always be at the centre of our work together.

My role is not to tell you what to do or to be the expert in your life , you are the only expert on that. I am here to assist you in finding your own strength and empowering you to find your own answers, bringing knowledge and experience to help you along a path that is always led by you.

I have extensive experience working with a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, stress, life direction and many more, across private practice, charitable and corporate settings. My previous experience working with children and adolescents also gives me a broad understanding of developmental issues and a range of therapeutic approaches. I offer a blended counselling approach tailored specifically to you , a non-judgmental, confidential and safe space where you can explore freely, build insight and develop the confidence and coping mechanisms for lasting growth.

Language shows us that naming an experience doesn't give the experience more power, it gives us the power of understanding and meaning.
