About Me
Hi, I'm Jackie. I am a BACP accredited counsellor and have been working as a therapist since 2017, supporting adults with a wide range of concerns across a variety of settings. My aim is to offer you a safe, confidential space that is entirely focused on you , a place to process events from the past or the present, support healing and personal growth, and feel respected and accepted as an individual.
I have a particular interest in trauma and the way it can become embedded in everyday life, often in ways that are not immediately visible. I offer a professional, warm and confidential service with the goal of empowering clients to live the life they want, informed and equipped to make meaningful choices and move forward.
As an integrative counsellor, I draw on three core approaches , person-centred, cognitive behavioural and psychodynamic , which allows me to create real flexibility and genuine choice for each client I work with. I believe in working collaboratively, at your pace, and in a way that gives you a sense of real agency in the therapeutic process.

In the end, it's not what happens to us that matters most – it's what we choose to do with it. Sometimes the hardest way to show up for ourselves is to ask for help.
