Hi, I'm Joan. I am a qualified integrative therapist registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am committed to providing a non-judgmental, compassionate and confidential therapeutic space , somewhere you can feel free to navigate the difficult emotions, thoughts and beliefs that can be hard to express openly with others.

Based on your individual needs and preferences, I will draw on a range of approaches and techniques to help you explore and understand what you are experiencing. Together, working collaboratively, we will address the barriers to your personal growth and development and find the best way forward for you.

I integrate CBT , including traditional, strengths-based and mindfulness-centred approaches , alongside person-centred and psychodynamic work. I recognise that people require different things from therapy: different pacing, different levels of structure, different styles. I am committed to working responsively throughout, reviewing and adapting our approach as needed to ensure that what we do together genuinely works for you.
