About Me

Hi, I'm Tory. I am a qualified integrative counsellor registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am genuinely interested in your lived experiences and can offer you a safe space to explore, understand and make sense of things you may be finding painful or difficult.

I have experience working with a wide range of issues including complex trauma and bereavement. I understand that these experiences can contribute to feelings of confusion, anger, shame or hopelessness, and I believe that engaging in counselling can be a significant step forward towards healing and change.

I have a particular interest in neurodiversity and working with autistic adults. As a neuroaffirming therapist, I embrace different communication styles and tailor my approach to support your individual needs. With over ten years of experience in the field of autism, I can offer understanding, assurance and genuine insight. My approach is flexible, relational and collaborative, encouraging you to consider your own goals, celebrate your individual strengths and feel supported as you explore change.

We think we listen, but very rarely do we listen with real understanding, true empathy. Yet listening, of this very special kind, is one of the most potent forces for change that I know.
