About Me

Hi, I'm Robyn. I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. Starting therapy can feel daunting, especially when you are feeling overwhelmed or unsure of where to begin , so my aim is to help you feel at ease, comfortable and supported from our very first session, so that we can work together towards the changes you are hoping for.

I offer a warm, compassionate and non-judgmental space where you can talk openly and feel truly heard. Building trust is at the heart of my work, and I see therapy as a collaborative process where we move at a pace that genuinely feels right for you. I believe therapy is most effective when you feel safe, understood and supported to explore what matters most.

My practice is integrative, meaning I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches rather than one fixed model. This allows me to respond to your experience in the way that fits you best. Some sessions may involve gently exploring thoughts, feelings or patterns that have shaped your life. Others may bring in practical, evidence-based strategies for the challenges you are facing right now. I may also introduce creative ways of working where it feels appropriate , and we will always agree together on what is useful. My goal is to support you without judgement, help you make sense of your experiences and assist you in discovering your own inner resources for growth and change.

The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination.
