About Me
Hi, my name is Teresa and I’m an integrative counsellor and clinical supervisor. This means I am trained in a variety of therapeutic methods which I tailor to suit your needs, goals and pace. Compassion and understanding guide every session, ensuring you feel understood, respected, and actively supported throughout.
I work collaboratively with you to identify what you want to change, understand what’s getting in the way, and build the resources needed to feel more grounded and fulfilled. I support people, but not exclusively experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, bereavement, relationship difficulties, neurodivergent challenges and trauma, including PTSD.
I am also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing), a structured and research supported method for processing trauma, distressing memories and the emotional patterns that can keep us feeling stuck. We can integrate this into our therapeutic work, to help you process past events and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
My approach is both supportive and purposeful - an environment where insight, healing, and change can happen together. Whatever you bring, I will use my full range of skills to support you fully through your process.
I am fully accredited therapist with my professional body (BACP).
